IT A 38 anni Fabiano diventerà presto padre. Con 50 capre e 8 mucche cerca di produrre lo stesso formaggio con cui negli anni ’70 i suoi genitori hippy si erano fatti un nome in quella remota valle, a sud delle Alpi. Purtroppo le cose non stanno andando come lui vorrebbe. Ha molti debiti, e i rimorsi per una disgrazia avvenuta l’anno prima nei boschi sottostanti lo tormentano ancora. Riusciranno lui e la sua compagna a costruirsi una vita insieme?

EN Herdsman Fabiano will be a father soon. He owns fifty goats and eight cows and is trying his best to produce the alpine cheese with which his hippie parents made a name for themselves in the ’70s, in an isolated valley of Ticino. But nothing is going the way it should. He’s in debt and feels guilty for a fatal accident which occurred the previous year, which haunts him. How can he and his girlfriend build a life together under such difficult circumstances?

DE Der 38-jährige Fabiano bewirtschaftet mit seiner Freundin eine Alp im Süden der Schweiz. Er wird bald Vater. Mit 50 Ziegen und 8 Kühen versucht er den gleichen Käse herzustellen mit dem sich seine Hippie-Eltern in den ’70er Jahren einen Namen gemacht haben. Leider läuft es nicht so wie er es sich gewünscht hätte. Finanzielle Schulden und die Erinnerung an einen tödlichen Unfall, der sich letztes Jahr im Tal ereignet hat, verfolgen ihn schwer.
